Ce site web est dédié à la développement de la recherche de l'hypothèse d'une sclérose en plaques (SEP) de nature veineuse. CCSVI ou IVCC est actuellement recherché. L'examen et le traitement ne sont pas des méthodes standards. La recherche est malheureusement au début. Il n'y a pas des publications sur le "stenting" et donc on n'a pas d'expérience validée. Les stents pouraient être risqués à long terme. Un traitement à l'étranger peut avoir des risques supplementaires. Il ne faut pas oublier le suivi ambulatoire. Le traitment devrait être lieu seulement dans des bonnes études scientifiques. Le but est de augmenter le savoir le plus vite possible, voie le livre suivant "Testing Treatments".

Better Research for Better Treatment

Instead of pushing your own treatment outside clinical trials, please, support good research (fair tests) for better evidence. This allows better decisions for everyone in shorter time. Prof. Zamboni advocates also this strategy ("… we are still at the stage where we need to understand if this type of treatment makes sense, with who and when, etc. … We can’t be like cowboys and try new things on other people’s skins before it was experimented safely, so I insisted that, if the treatment has to be done, they should be done by a group that have a program, with their proper neurologist and with a conservative regimen. …" [ws_sardinia10a] ).
