    Die Resultate weisen darauf hin, dass Plaquebildung einen anderen Ursprung als destruktive Immunzellenangriffe gegen Myelin oder Oligodendrozyten Antigene haben könnte. Die gängige Autoimmunhypothese wird in Zweifel gezogen.
